This great state has seen her fair share of battle, bloodshed, and scandal. Known as the "Gateway to the West", Missouri is the home state of Jesse James and his infamous gang, and bushwackers "Bloody Bill" Anderson and Sam Hilderbrand. During the Civil War there were over 1000 battles fought here,  being  surpassed by only two other states, and was bitterly divided between Union and Confederate views.

Missouri is the home of Daniel Boone, President Harry S. Truman, and the final resting place of William Clark and family. Spread out over nearly 70,000 square miles and containing everything from world famous breweries to world renown cemeteries, the state where we are as stubborn as a Missouri mule and our topography varies as much as the weather. A land full of culture, heritage, and a love of history - join me as I explore this great state, and beyond.
