This cemetery holds special
memories for our team member Ginger as she spent most of her
childhood here. Having not visited it in 15+ years, she was very
disturbed to see it in its present condition. Research is being done
to track down family members of the deceased buried here to find
individuals interested in helping with preservation work. It is in desperate need of preservation and if you are
interested in learning more about what you can do, I urge you to
contact Ginger through her email listed on our homepage. In another
year it's possible this cemetery will be completely overgrown, so if
you can assist us in any way, please do so. There are stones here
dating back to the 1860's, so let's work together to save this piece
of history. |
