Township - a subdivision of a county. Abbreviated as Twp., Tp., or T.

Range - a strip of land six miles long in a North/South direction.

Tier and Range Numbers - township and range

Section - unit of subdivision of a township.

Grantor - Grantee index - a list maintained by public recorders of all parties to real estate transactions within the jurisdiction of the recorder. These are indexed by the names of the parties.
